Connectbrazil.com uses the USPS (United States Postal System)
as its primary carrier and the information contained on this page
reflects this fact. We will also ship via UPS, FedEx or other carriers
on customer request. Please contact us for shipping rates for other
carriers.

will my order arrive? What is the status of my order?

When
will my order arrive?
Delivery
times vary, dependent on your shipping address and your choice of
delivery methods. Shipping times are not guaranteed and the actual
performance varies:
For
US-bound orders:
Standard
(Media Mail) delivery:
Usually 4-14 business days via the US Post Office. (may take up
to 21 business days)
Priority
Mail delivery:
Usually 1-3 business days via the US Post Office.
Express
Mail delivery:
Usually 'next day' (business day) via the US Post Office. Some parts
of the US require second day delivery.
For
all US destinations: Connectbrazil.com automatically adds 'Delivery Confirmation'
to each shipment for package tracking to your door.
For International Orders:
All
International orders sent by Connectbrazil.com are subject to an additional shipping
surcharge based on the method of shipment used. If delivery options are available
to your postal code, Connectbrazil.com will contact you by e-mail with available
options and pricing. Global
Priority Mail: Usually 5-10 days via the US Post Office for merchandise weighing
less than 4 pounds to greater than 51 countries and territories worldwide. This
is our default method of shipment for destinations outside of the US.
Airmail
Parcel Post:
Usually 2-4 weeks via the US Post Office. (may take up to 8 to 12
weeks due to customs delays)
Global
Express Mail: Usually 3-5 days via the US Post Office. For
all international destinations: Connectbrazil.com will automatically provide a
certificate of mailing for each package to destinations outside of the US. At
our discretion, we may also specify an alternative method of shipment, which would
include delivery confirmation. In this case, you will be contacted by e-mail for
your choice of delivery methods and costs.
What is the status of my order?
Connectbrazil
will update your order's status on request by e-mail, fax or phone. Please see
our section: 'How do I contact you?' Refunds:
Connectbrazil.com
will, at its option, offer a refund or a in-store credit for items
on a case by case basis. Refunds or credits are available for unopened
items only. In the rare instance of 'manufacturer defect', Connectbrazil.com
will provide a replacement for the same item in exchange, if it
is available as an in-stock item.
Refunds
are limited to 14 days after the original order date. After this
time, a in-store credit may be issued, with a 'valid' period of
14 days. In all cases, the customer must first request an 'RMA'
(Returned Merchandise Authorization' number by writing to us via
our 'Contact
Us' page and then return the item to the address above.
Connectbrazil.com
will not be responsible for RMA items which are 'lost in transit'.
Shipping for all returned items must include a tracking number and
the RMA number written on the return package. Shipping insurance
for RMA packages is required. All return costs are the responsibility
of the customer.
Refunds
or credits apply to the cost of the item only: Shipping and Handling
costs are not refundable. All 'special order' sales are final.
Why
is Delivery Confirmation automatically included?
No
delivery carrier can be 100% perfect, all of the time. 'Delivery
Confirmation' is an 'optional' package tracking service provided
by the US Post Office for delivery to addresses within the US. Connectbrazil
automatically includes this service to each package sent to US-bound
addresses as part of your order.
It
acts as a 'proof of mailing' to assure you that we have shipped your order as
promised and as a way for customers to conveniently follow the shipping process
undertaken by the US Post Office. Because each 'Delivery Confirmation' certificate
carries a unique number, this service can also aid the customer in case of lost,
delayed or stolen merchandise. Connectbrazil
makes no claim or guarantee to the performance of the US Post Office or any third-party
carrier for domestic or international delivery, and will not provide reimbursement
for lost, delayed or stolen merchandise once proof of mailing has been established.
As
a customer, you should choose the delivery method that best suits your needs.
Connectbrazil will include any requested, available delivery security services
offered by any carrier, when requested by the customer in writing by using the
'Special Instructions' text box on the order form to specify your needs at the
time of order placement, for an additional fee.
Shipping
Errors:
When
you place an order in our e-store, you are accepting the responsibility
for providing us with the correct information to successfully complete
the order. Connectbrazil.com only can ship your order to the mailing
address you provide during the checkout process so please be sure
to confirm the shipping address before you place your order.
You
should also check the information contained in the order confirmation
and shipping confirmation notices we send to you by e-mail once
your order is placed and enters the fulfillment process.
If
you wish, you may indicate your preference for processing your order
on the order form in the 'Special Instructions' text box during
checkout. If your order contains both 'in-stock' and 'delayed availability'
items, you can choose to type the following instruction in the 'Special
Instructions' text box on the order form.
What
if I want shipping insurance or have special needs for delivery?
If you believe that additional security options such as insured mail, special
handling or signature confirmation are required for this order, please use the
'Special Instructions' text box on the order form to specify your needs. We'll
send you an e-mail to confirm these additions to this order. These additional
delivery options must be listed in the 'Special Instructions' text box on the
order form before you submit your order. Sorry, they cannot be added to your order
once it has been submitted. Connectbrazil.com
does not automatically add insurance to orders, but for larger orders and for
various rare and hard-to-find items, we will add insurance to the shippment(s)
at our discretion.
What are
your shipping options?
Connectbrazil.com
utilizes the services of the US Post Office for domestic and international
delivery. The USPS regularly updates its category and pricing structure,
so please make note of the shipping options and prices available
to you when placing your order. Please note that shipping rates
may change without notice.
For
Domestic, US bound orders: Standard
Delivery
Our 'Standard Delivery' option provides reliable delivery of your
order for the lowest price. Please allow 3 to 14 business days (on
average) from date of shipment to delivery:
'Delivery
Confirmation' is automatically added to each US-bound 'Standard
Delivery' shipment for package tracking to your door (This is a
'pass through' cost from the US Post Office).
Prioritized
Delivery USPS 'Priority Mail' provides fats and reliable delivery to your
door, usually within 1-3 business days:
'Priority
Mail' service includes package tracking at no additional cost.
Overnight
Delivery * You may also choose Express Mail delivery for 'Next Day' service
to most US destinations, although some parts of the US are designated as 2-day
delivery zones:

Rates subject to weight restrictions, 2nd day to some remote zip
codes.
For
International orders: Orders
placed for shipment to International destinations will show Domestic shipping
rates by default. Connectbrazil.com will contact you with International shipping
options and their related costs. Connectbrazil.com will automatically provide
a certificate of mailing for each package to destinations outside of the US. For
