Best known for her multi-lingual music productions that span five languages - English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French, you may have already heard some of Mônica’s music and not even realized it. Many of her songs have been featured on national and international commercials, and prime time shows on MTV, CBS, NBC, HGTV, E!, and The Style Network, just to list a few.

Mônica grew up between the USA and Belém, Brazil, a city on the Amazon River. Experiencing life in two very different places helped to shape Mônica's original sound, which is a blend of Bossa Nova, World Music and Indie Pop.

Teaming up her talents with guitarist and songwriting partner, Chad Alger, has led to an incredible energy and compatibility that is revealed in their live performances and on their album. “The music this couple produces flows from the stage like cool water mixed with fiery sparkles of passion.”

Our 'Amnesty' Program Has Ended

Here's what it means to you:

To aid our Buyers Club members during the economic downturn, Connectbrazil.com instituted - at our own expense - a 'forgiveness' program for Buyers Club members who could not fulfill their required purchases in their membership year 2009. Made available to every member on an individual basis, we offered to waive all required, outstanding purchases upon renewal of membership on an annual basis. We offered this subsidy again in 2010 as a way to remind members of both their benefits and obligations to the Club.

This program has now ceased effective June 1, 2011 and we have resumed regular billing procedures for all members. If you have not fulfilled the minimum purchase requirements for your membership term, you will be billed and charged a fee equal to the outstanding purchases as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. This amount will also be immediately credited back to you in the form of an in-store credit for future purchases, with no penalty or added assessment given.

Note: Our Terms & Conditions of membership are made publicly available and your acceptance is a required action for application to the Buyers Club. No individual can apply for membership without acceptance of these terms. Links and references to these terms are included on this page and in all regular written correspondence.

Unlike other Buyers Clubs, The Connectbrazil Buyers Club, carries no hidden fees or 'triggers', and is run on an honor system: We provide 100% of Club benefits to all members immediately, even before an initial order is placed. This requires each individual member to be responsible for the management of her or his account.

We hope that this provides no undue hardship to our members - each of which we respect and appreciate for their love and dedication to Brazilian music. But with no improvement of economic conditions on the horizon, Connectbrazil.com could no longer subsidize this service to our most valued customers.
