Hello! My name is George Klabin. I grew up as a teen in São Paulo, Brasil at the birth of Bossa Nova, which led to my lifelong love affair with this music.
As a recording studio owner and engineer, and founder of a Grammy-winning record label, I’m opening my personal journal to share my musical adventures with you.
These are my stories. This is the music!
This week, I’ll introduce you to a pair of uniquely creative and visionary Brazilian jazz pioneers, Hermeto Pascoal and Siivua. Plus, I’ll explain how each has earned the highest regard among generations of Brazilian musicians and their fans. Plus, my stories about these two legendary songwriters and musicians, too!
