Hello again, nice to see you here today.

Hot enough for you?

The question is: “What’s the best way to stretch out the longest days of the year? The answer?

We’ll do it with the Summer edition of ‘Long Songs’… melodies that seemingly go on forever because they have a lot to say.

I’ll tell you how a December radio tradition has become a summer staple, along with the story of my first jazz club experience in Rio de Janeiro.

But first, some timely tips:

~ ~ ~

This Week On Brazil Back2Back: Friday, it’s all about the summer sun, when I feature songs from Vanessa Da Mata & Sabrina Malheiros. Always two in a row when you tune in to our streaming station today! Listen at the top of the hour at 11 am and again at 2 pm and 5 pm Central.

Sunday’s Brazilian Brunch catches you at the best part of your weekend, so take us along. No app is needed for your tablet or smartphone to make it easy to take our music with you, wherever you go.

Join us ‘Live’ Sundays only, for three full hours beginning at 5 am and 9 am Central and then again at 2 pm and 8 pm from the player at the bottom of your screen.

Make A Request!  There’s a standing invitation for you to send me a request for your favorite song, style, or musician – anytime! I’d be happy to play yours and when I do, I’ll announce your name on the radio. Visit the Listening Lounge to place a request!
