Hello! I’m George Klabin. I grew up as a teen in São Paulo, Brasil at the birth of Bossa Nova, which led to my lifelong love affair with this music.
As a recording studio owner and engineer, and founder of a Grammy-winning record label, I’m opening my personal journal to share my musical adventures with you.
These are my stories. This is the music!
This week, I’ll bring my playlist of the great composers and songwriters of Brazilian music. From Bossa Nova to contemporary jazz. Iconic names with their most famous songs, performed by world-class musicians. I’ll even include tracks from my record label’s release of reedman Eddie Daniels’ tribute to Milton Nascimento’s Courage album, called To Milton With Love. It’s been named Album of The Year for 2025! I hope you will enjoy them with me.
